So, we love cats, right? We love their little faces, their soft paws, their adorable little feet, and so many other things. Well, inspired by their cute faces and paws, we want to introduce you to these two easy and quick homemade cookie recipes that are just as adorable. Let’s get baking!
Cat Paw Print Cookies: Easy and Adorable Recipes
Cat Paw Print Cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour (240 g)
- 1 cup of butter (227 g)
- 1 cup of sugar (200 g)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (5 ml)
- 4 oz of dark chocolate for decoration (113 g)
Instructions:
- Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, making sure to mix it well.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it's about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) thick.
- Use a round cutter or the rim of a glass to cut small circles that will form the base of the paw prints.
- Roll small balls of dough and place them on top of each circle to mimic the cat's toes.
- Place the cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet or a buttered sheet, and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Melt the dark chocolate, and using a spoon or piping bag, fill the circles with chocolate to create the paw pads.
- Let the chocolate cool and harden before serving.
